This is a Type B MiniLeague, with a ModKos PG-13 rating. The subject area is not one frequently seen in regular LL play, so some players will find the questions more difficult than usual, but the goal is to keep things light.

I'm not looking to stump the theology majors, but rather to pique the curiosity of the general LL player who knows a little bit about a lot of things. I've been curious about the religions of the world since a high school course on the subject, but I am by no means a hardcore expert.

If you are a religious person, it's likely that you'll find the questions from your particular belief system easy to get; this isn't a game of "Stump the Imam" or "Puzzle the Priest". Rather, it's designed to pique the interest of the typical LL generalist, with the harder questions rewarding the players with a deeper and broader knowledge of the subject. And hopefully the questions will be interesting, whether or not you know the answers.

A word about parameters: this ML will include under its big ecumenical tent any and all of the religions of the world today, large and small, including notable fictional ones. (I know, I know, some of you are thinking, "Hey, aren't all religions fictional?") It will not include ancient mythologies (Greek, Roman, Norse, Mayan, etc.), a territory worthy of a completely separate ML (or series thereof). (I know, I know, some of you are thinking, "Hey, isn't all religion mythology?")

Within this broad subject area, the questions may cover a variety of categories: beliefs and teachings; prayers and practices; history; religious leaders; people and places; holy texts, and much more. We'll look at religion through the lens of all the other LL categories, too; it'll be a mixed bag, all focused on this one broad topic.
