However, the league graciously accepts financial contributions from players and fans. The costs of running the league are significant and growing, so every dollar helps. If you enjoy participating, won't you consider becoming a member, to show your love? LearnedLeague welcomes membership of all levels and from all individuals, organizations, and corporations. Contributions to the league are recognized at the membership levels below: Commissioner's Circle • • • •Contributions of $100 or greater League Patron • • •Contributions of $50-$99 Sponsor • •Contributions of $25-$49 Contributor •Contributions of up to $25
LearnedLeague sincerely thanks you for your support. Once a membership contribution is received, an individual will be recognized at the membership level for one calendar year.
A membership contribution to the LearnedLeague is completely voluntary, and is not a fee or an exchange for services provided, past or future. Participating in the league is in no way conditional on becoming a member.
Likewise, accepting the contribution on the league's part should not be construed as any agreement, stated or implicit (so if the league shuts down, that doesn't mean you'll get your money back). And while I'm no accountant, I seriously doubt that contributions to LearnedLeague are tax deductible or anything like that.
