Thanks to McAndrewS for a fun one-day, and congrats to Wolov!

I just wanted to make a note for the historical record, which is that question #4 (about how Jagger elided the lyrics to "Let's Spend the Night Together" on the Ed Sullivan Show) is actually a subject of some dispute.

E.g., in the band's bio on the Rolling Stone website:

In January 1967 the Stones caused another sensation when they performed "Let's Spend the Night Together" ("Ruby Tuesday"'s B side) on The Ed Sullivan Show. Jagger mumbled the title lines after threats of censorship (some claimed that the line was censored; others that Jagger actually sang "Let's spend some time together"; Jagger later said, "When it came to that line, I sang mumble").

Seconding the thanks to McAndrewS for this terrific quiz. I like(d) it!

The Glimmer Twins came to mind immediately, but I got to experience that distinctive LL frisson of delight when Nanker Phelge bubbled up a few hours later from the credits on Hot Rocks. Is there any way to find out response percentages for possible answers to Q11 and Q12?

Also wondering how many others were misled by the prop trident in Brian Jones's hand to guess "Sympathy for the Devil" on Q9. Props to the seven of you who got it, no doubt from owning the single (geezers).

And I had typed in "It's Only Rock and Roll" for Q7, but changed it at the last minute... to "Jumpin' Jack Flash."

I was one of those seven, but I'm no geezer... Only got it by sheer luck.

Not knowing a lot about the Rolling Stones, I put down one answer to several questions... For instance, most of the "who is" questions I didn't know, I wrote Taylor and for most of the "song" questions I didn't know, I went with Jumpin' Jack Flash... The former didn't get me any points but the latter snagged me 15

Was an interesting quiz. I've never been a huge Rolling Stones fan (realized after this quiz that I don't own a single one of their songs, let alone albums) so it was fun reading about some of this trivia after the fact (e.g. the Ed Sullivan story)

The most enjoyable stumper for me was coming up with Mick Taylor's composition (naming one of Wyman's was a lost cause). I knew it was on Exile, and I had "Radiator Blues" knocking around my head, but I knew that wasn't right (although I didn't realize how close I was). I finally opted for "Turd on the Run."
